We install Ring Video Doorbells across Lancaster County — handle the wiring, assess your WiFi signal at the front door, configure motion zones, and connect it to your smart home. You don’t touch a screwdriver.
Most Ring problems come from bad installs — wrong angle, weak WiFi, untuned motion zones. We do it right the first time.
We mount Ring at the right height and angle for your entryway, wire to existing doorbell power if available, and seal the bracket cleanly. No visible wire gaps, no bare holes.
We test your WiFi signal strength at the front door before mounting. Weak WiFi is the #1 reason Ring fails. If signal is poor, we recommend and install a mesh node or extender on the spot.
Out-of-the-box motion settings alert you every time a car drives by. We calibrate motion zones, sensitivity, and schedules so you only get alerts that matter.
We connect Ring to your existing indoor chime (if wired) or set up a Ring Chime, configure your phone notifications, and test two-way audio. Every alert channel working before we leave.
We connect Ring to your Alexa or Google Home account and set up automations — doorbell press triggers lights or an inside announcement, motion events sync with your security cameras.
If you have a compatible Yale or Schlage smart lock, we pair Ring with your lock for package delivery access. Full door security as a system, not just a doorbell.
We install all current Ring models. Your existing wiring — or lack of it — is the main factor.
Requires existing doorbell wiring (8–24V AC). Head-to-toe video, 3D motion detection, Bird's Eye View for package tracking, color night vision. The best Ring for Lancaster homes with existing wiring.
Works with or without existing wiring. Pre-Roll video captures 4 seconds before motion events. Color night vision, improved motion detection. Best for homes where wiring is uncertain.
No existing wiring required. Head-to-toe video, color night vision, Live View. Best for homes without low-voltage doorbell wiring or rental properties where running wire isn't practical.
Most Ring problems aren’t with the device — they’re with WiFi. Your router is typically in the center or back of your house. The front door, through walls and around corners, often has signal just strong enough to pair but not strong enough for reliable video. We test signal strength at your doorbell location before mounting anything. If it’s marginal, we install a mesh node or WiFi extender at that visit — so your Ring actually works the way it’s supposed to, not just technically connected.
Written quote before any work starts. No surprises.

No. The Ring Video Doorbell 4 and Ring Battery Video Doorbell Plus run on battery with no existing wiring needed. If your home has low-voltage doorbell wiring (most Lancaster homes built after 1960 do), we can hardwire the Ring Pro 2 for continuous power and no battery changes. We check your wiring before recommending a model.
Almost always WiFi. Your router is in the center or back of the house, and the front door signal drops through walls. We test signal at your doorbell location before mounting. If it’s marginal, we install a mesh node or extender the same visit — fixing the network first so Ring actually works reliably.
Labor runs $99–$149 for a standard install. Device cost is $150–$230 depending on the model. If a WiFi extender is needed, we quote that separately before any work starts. Written estimate every time.
Ring does not natively support Apple HomeKit. It works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. If HomeKit is your primary platform, we can recommend and install an Arlo or Eufy doorbell instead — both have native HomeKit support. We install all major brands.
Yes. Ring integrates with select Yale and Schlage smart locks for Amazon Key package delivery access. It also works with Alexa automations so you can unlock the door from the Ring app when you see a delivery. We set up the pairing during installation.
No. Live view, two-way talk, and real-time motion notifications all work without a subscription. Ring Protect ($3.99–$10/month) adds video history storage and package detection alerts. It’s optional — we set up your Ring subscription-free and you can add it later if you want video history.
We check the wiring, test the WiFi signal, mount it clean, configure motion zones, and connect it to your smart home. You answer the door from your phone before we’re back in the truck.
